I am mother to five incredible adults, who always amaze me with their energy, zest for life and abilities to love. Now, I am also 'Nanny' to 14 grandchildren! Their collective influence contributes to the serene and often playful atmosphere evident in my paintings.
As a self-taught artist, I am free to break the rules and go wherever I wish with my colour, shapes, expressions and interpretations.
Look for playfully aggressive brush strokes, explosions of colour,
texture and movement.
My work is ever changing, evolving, surprising. Rarely will the content appear as it has been seen elsewhere - the constant however, is colour. Always vivid, always vibrant, always somewhat unexpected and yet, at the same time, always exactly as it should be.
